Lesson 5: Signs of a Blob Operation
Welcome to the 5th and final lesson of Critical Blob Studies 101. Now that we understand who the Blob is, what side it’s on, how it operates, and how it came home, it’s time to answer the most important question: how can we use our knowledge of the Blob’s past to be able to better understand events in the present and future?
As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20. Meaning, when you look back at previous events, they make much more sense because you have the benefit of seeing how things eventually played out.
And there’s a benefit to being able to understand events of the past. But if we can’t use our knowledge to be able to predict how things will turn out in the future, that benefit is quite small.
In order to do that, we must take the information we’ve learned in the first 4 lessons and generalize it. That way, we will have a general framework for understanding future events.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS LESSON IS THE FINAL EXAM.
Lesson 1: What is the Blob?
You should already know what the first tip is. From Lesson 3:
By this point, it should be abundantly clear that when faced with a question in Critical Blob Studies, our first step should be to consult George Kennan’s two foundational Blob documents; kind of like the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the Blob: Inauguration and 10/2.
If you haven’t already, read Inauguration and 10/2 in their entirety. Study them. Internalize them. Reflect on them. When in doubt, consult Kennan. While you’re at it, consult the Blob Studies Annotated Bibliography for other informative documents.
If you understand the foundation and purpose of the Blob, you’ll have a pretty easy time recognizing Blob Ops. Always keep this in mind.
When considering whether what you’re experiencing is a Blob operation, the easiest way to find out is by looking to see if the Blob is involved. This seems pretty straightforward because it is. So, if you see the Trifecta involved, chances are it’s a Blob operation.
However, you may recall from Lesson 1 that the whole point of the Blob is to conduct their operations under plausible deniability, precisely so it doesn’t point back to the US Government. This is the case for most Blob operations.
So instead, we must look at whether the Blob’s partners, proxies, pass-throughs, or cutouts are present. This is where we look to the four corners of whole-of-society: government, private sector, civil society, and media.
Government organizations outside of the Trifecta, even those of other countries, are often part of Blob operations. Though, obviously, not every government action around the globe is a Blob Op, many are.
Private corporations are known as the Donor-Drafter class because they donate to and draft off of the Blob’s operations. Look for partnerships with or funding from American National Champions in the sectors of finance, energy, technology, and pharmaceuticals.
Civil society is going to be the biggest dead ringer. When you see any of the notable Blob-adjacent civil society organizations, you can be reasonably certain that the Blob itself is involved. When faced with a new organization, look at their leadership, funding, and partners:
If their board looks like a CIA reunion, it’s probably a Blob Op.
If they receive grants from the State Department, USAID, NED, Open Society, Ford Foundation, or other Blob-affiliated organizations, it’s probably a Blob Op.
If they partner with Blob-affiliated civil society organizations, it’s probably a Blob Op.
Identifying a Blob Op in the media corner is similar to both the private sector and civil society corners. Look at funding, affiliations, and leadership. Hint: keep an eye out for fact-checkers.
Lesson 2: Which side is the Blob on?
The main takeaway from Lesson 2 is that the Blob is not for or against any particular political party or movement inherently, even if it may seem so.
The Blob’s mission is to protect American government and business interests worldwide; anything and anyone who stands in their way will become a target.
Remember: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DOMESTIC POLICY.
Everything, everywhere, at all times, is within the Blob’s purview:
Cronyism? Blob.
Wokeness? Blob.
Civil unrest? Blob.
Contested elections? Blob.
Soft-on-crime policies? Blob.
Social media censorship? Blob.
Advertiser boycotts? Blob.
Consider how political divides are framed. Are your two options Coke vs. Pepsi? Cream vs. eggshell? 6 vs. a half dozen? Is a particular person, group, or movement being characterized as “anti-democratic” or a “threat to democracy”? Is someone being called an “isolationist”? Are there terrorist or militant organizations that somehow manage to survive and serve as a perfect scapegoat? Is there an eerie level of “bipartisan agreement” or “consensus” on a specific topic? Are the AFL-CIO and Chamber of Commerce all of a sudden in agreement? If your answer to any of the above is yes, it’s probably a Blob Op.
Lesson 3: How the Blob operates
Lesson 3 taught us exactly what type of operations to look for. These are the six methods of political warfare:
Political alliances: Forming international alliances with interest-aligned nations
Economic measures: Sanctions, development, and other economic warfare
Propaganda: Creating or infiltrating media organizations to spread information
Support of “friendly” foreign elements: Capacity building our enemies’ enemies
Psychological warfare: Influencing the minds of our enemies or their populations
Encouragement of Underground Resistance: Starting riots and insurrections
None of these things ever happen without the Blob. All of them have some form of capacity building involved.
Lesson 4: How the Blob came home
Finally, remember that even though the Blob insists that it only operates abroad, remember that they have a license to lie. The Blob unequivocally and undisputably operates inside the United States and against Americans all the time.
The specific examples from Lesson 4 are:
Rule of law programs
COVID + BLM + 2020 Election
False Flags
Censorship
These are not the only ways the Blob operates in the United States, but they are the main ways.
Final Exam: Otpor Documentary Essay
This lesson’s homework assignment will serve as your final examination. Whoever submits their answers from Homeworks 1-4 and this final essay, once reviewed, will receive an official Critical Blob Studies Basic Certification, with their name (or username/alias) featured on the BlobStudies.com website.
Your task will be to watch the documentary Bringing Down a Dictator by Martin Sheen that details how the Blob overthrew Serbian/Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic in 2000.
Answer each of the five key learning outcome questions, using examples from the documentary and all five lessons:
Who and What is the Blob?
Why does the Blob exist?
How does the Blob operate?
Why does it matter to us?
How can we identify a Blob operation in real time?
Congratulations on completing CBS101! I’ll see you on the internet.

The Blob is the entrenched establishment, the 60s decried “Man,” that shapes policy and controls our lives regardless of party affiliation, apparent reforms, or personal morals.
It is not a single organization; but a network of incestuous acronym-named institutions that drive incentives to cooperate with them, namely in the form of power, prestige and affluence.
Blobsters gonna blob because the Deep State has created a permanent bureaucracy and professional classes that preserve their continuity of control, protects their power, allocates budgets and influence, and reproduces their desired worldview through elite education like Rhodes scholarships, media feeds like the AP, and nepotistic hiring pipelines full of family relations and friends who now owe you favors.
Typical Blobby mechanics include controlling expert narratives with their influencer social media puppets, coordinating messaging through media and think tanks like when every outlet called Trump’s 2016 State of the Union speech “dark.” They influence elections indirectly via Orwellian speech and thought control, shaping what policies are considered “serious,” or not. They use intelligence “leaks,” some of which are purposeful, leveraging bureaucracy to slow or redirect elected leaders—foreign and domestic, thus creating useful though maybe artificial consensus among elites.
These unelected Blob dons, like Soros, Steffan, or Epstein, push institutions that manage the way we conduct war and foreign policy—POTUS is Blob-aligned on Iran, which explains the media and institutional support this war has had. This all matters because the surveillance state, censorship speak, and economic policies that punish “opponents,” (even decent guys like Musk) in public narratives that then regulate what information is or is not deemed socially acceptable; I, for example, cannot speak my mind at work without losing my job nor can I at home without causing marital strife, so resounding is the echo of the Blob’s dictates. The concern is that our constitutional republic has been overturned and weakened by permanent Deep State-like systems that outweigh elected officials and the voice of the People.
To spot Blob ops, look for patterns such as synchronized media narratives that utilize similar diction or themes, NGO boards with a bunch of former spooks, anonymous intelligence leaks that scream ulterior motives after being released, and bipartisan elite consensus like in kidnapping and arresting the Venezuelan president who wouldn’t give our corporations favorable oil deals. If you see coordinated messaging across the gay race communist megaphoned loudmouths, suppression or marginalization of dissent like in making Tesla dealerships “uncomfortable,” rapid narrative reversals without explanation or accountability like how pro free Internet the Democrats were under Obama until they lost in 2016, and heavy reliance on “experts say” framing without transparency or, again, accountability ie Dr. Mengela-Fauci.
Bloated octopi-like organizations that pretend to be for “democracy” and other pleasant, agreeable phrases do sometimes naturally, without coercion, converge around shared incentives and assumptions sans conspiracy, but when one takes into account how many conferences these faux elites attend, table top games they play that seem to foresee the future, and the clear utter naked contempt they have for us and our ability to reveal their fraud it’s all beyond the pale.
